About Me

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marilyn  Bleser, but most people know me as Lyndy. I am an attorney licensed by the bar of both New York and Florida. I worked for several years as a sole practitioner and then as managing partner of Brosnan & Bleser, LLP in upstate New York, until relocating with my family to Brevard County, Florida.

I began my career as an attorney with a focus on working with children and families. I spent five years working as a Law Guardian representing children in all court proceedings in the New York court system. I also represented indigent and low income families and individuals in civil, criminal and family court. I trained as a mediator and facilitator immediately after graduating from law school and participated in individual, family, civil, criminal and appellate mediations in the Third and Fourth Judicial Appellate Divisions in upstate New York.  I also participated in municipal  facilitations in the Hudson Valley. As my practice grew, I became more convinced that mediation and arbitration were a better solution than litigation for the intensely personal issues my clients were struggling to resolve.

While attending law school, I worked in the clinic assisting local litigants in administrative hearings and  completed my first appeal while still in law school. I continued representing individuals in administrative hearings in both internships and my law practice. I also became a certified arbitrator in the Fourth Judicial District in New York to handle attorney/client disputes.

In my law practice, I won several appeals and noticed that the appeals were easily resolved by mediation rather than  returning to court. I began to focus on alternative dispute solutions in my practice.

After relocating to Florida, I decided to focus on mediation and arbitration rather than beginning a new law practice. While working as a paralegal for a local attorney, I obtained training and certification as a Florida Supreme Court mediator for county, circuit and family court mediation. I also trained in parenting coordination through FSU in Tampa, and completed training in Florida arbitration, foreclosure mediation and trained as a guardian ad litem for Brevard County. I have offered pro bono services for local residents facing foreclosure individually and through Brevard Legal Aid.

Collaborative Solutions, P.A. is the result of my dream to offers arbitration, mediation and parenting coordination services in an affordable and flexible atmosphere. I fervently believe the best service we can offer our clients is promoting their dignity and helping them find lasting solutions within their unique situation. My practice is focused on working with individuals and professionals by offering services that can accommodate a variety of schedules, budgets and situations.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to working with you.
